Hortonworks Connector for Teradata compatibility with Apache Hadoop 2.x

Hi All,

Is Hortonworks Connector for Teradata (“Hortonworks Connector”) compatible with plain vanilla Apache Hadoop 2.x?

I want to do an incremental import from Teradata 15.x to Hive 0.13.
Can I use ONLY Sqoop command line options for doing an incremental import?
Else if NOT I am good to use Hortonworks Connector options for incremental import.
