I have installed htw 1.2.4 using stack 1.3.2 on a multi-node amazon system successfully. but after I stop and start the instances, I can’t get HTW startup again.
I did launch the ambari-agent on all secondary servers and the web interface started working where I could perform a startall command, but it failing to start services and I’m getting this error “Puppet has been killed due to timeout” on NameNode Start.

I have seen this report by others, is tehre a workaround for the version we are using.

[root@htw12-oam-head1 init.d]# rpm -qa | grep ambari
ambari-log4j-1.2.5.17-1.noarch
ambari-1.x-1.el6.noarch
ambari-agent-1.2.5.17-1.x86_64
